Our daughter got married on 5 May 2018 and the wedding was planned over about two years. The venue mentioned all manner of things we needed to arrange but we only considered a Toastmaster when my husband met up with Keith. My immediate hunch was that a commanding presence would be an excellent idea should the groom’s side turn out to be an absolute rabble (I already knew our side were!)
So we booked up Keith and had a meeting with him a few weeks before the big day. He was very reassuring and told us that if anything untoward cropped up on the day he would be there to deal with it. As things got more hectic and stressful in the final run up it was good to remember that!
When we pulled up at the venue Keith was there looking resplendent in his red uniform to greet the bride. He busied about, made all the important announcements and generally kept the show on the road. We had over 120 guests and it really needs someone with some gravitas to call them all to order for the speeches etc. He did this with aplomb!
I would definitely recommend Keith to anyone planning a wedding. He is money well spent-he can take care of the housekeeping while the frazzled parents can relax (a bit!) and enjoy time with their guests. He even looks quite cute in the photos!
